Was she signing to him...that's the first question we asked after seeing this play by Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. ABC News chief national correspondent Jim Avila reports about Hopkins' extraordinary touchdown and more incredible receptions in "Football Night in America." (ABC Sports)

DeAndre Hopkins is a receiver known for his ability to "run after the catch", which is why so many people were confused after seeing him pretending to be a newborn giraffe or a wolf (hey, no judgement here) following his touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night.

WABC-TV New York's Maksim Van Olmen asked him what was actually going on, and here's what the play had to say about the actual giraffe meme: "Everyone always talks about how long my legs are and how they should be attached to a giraffe or a wolverine," Hopkins said a couple of days after Sunday's tester against the Steelers. "One fan

liked it a lot that he sent it to me, saying I should be the next star in the movie. I posted it and wouldn't delete it."

Hopkins also spoke about the attention the meme has brought into his life and how he's not playing jeopardy any more since twitter noticed how good he is at the game. The other question of course is: why isn't Hopkins considered one of the best--if not the best--receivers in the NFL? (YouTube)
