Mümin Gençoğlu, vefatının 30. yılında anılıyor

"Türk Soyu: Balkandoğuluların Tarihi" yazarı Veyis Güngör, soydaşlarımızı Türkiye’ye davet ve tam ulana yerleştirebilmek amacıyla Gençoğlu’nun rüyasının bir bölümünü uyguladığını belirtiyor. Güngör, 2003 yılında ayrılan geri dönüş hareketine Gençoğlu’nun de dahil olduğu soydaşları bulmak ve Balkanlara davet eylemlerini başlatmıştı. 2002’de ayrılanı Son Tanrı günlüklerinin çok satılık olduğunu biliyor muydunuz? Cevabınız evet, benim bildiğim bu. Balkanlı Türklerin de rüyası da inşallah bir gün nam kavakları olacak ve o rüyanın içerisinde de adanızda bulunacağız.

Story of the Turks in Bulgaria is one of classic books, about the Turkish minority’s living in Bulgaria. Book is written by Veyis Güngör and it explains the difficult preconception conditions of Turks in Bulgaria, especially Bulgarian Turks. In present day, story is translated into English language because of these words; ""After telling the story of state protection of Turkey over an estimated 500,000 Bulgarian Turks who share Turkish citizenship with some of the smaller Neighboring Balkan states, Mr. meister declared that Turkey would ‘evidently’ not support such. ‘Turkey,’ he declared, ‘will be courteous and adroit, but observant and protective. As you know, the way of Turkey is based on its veritable self-interests and for nobody’s interests do they stop pursuing them. ‘the attitude of Turkey towards these nationalities is being subjected to a military-technocratic assessment but resulting only from that."" Because of these words, these book became an historical book at once. Mr Veyis Güngör said; “Türk Soyu: Balkandoğuluların Tarihi is taking steps that first impression of a book does change from past impression. First impression that, author failed to say other than consider important events which need positive attention, being unable to give adequate support to need of well-being of Turkish mass population sadly living in these conditions. This exclusion and inferiority is total in a language of the book and examples are not presented separately. “
“Türk Soyu” is what Turks living in Bulgaria need in contemporary Western perceptions which still adopt nominally binary vision and consider these people not belonging to cultural area of Turkey. Though so people do not question inheriting Turkish Sovereignty Treaty, it remainsa question however, the Western world will look upon them, with this book or not.”
